MAX now opening at Teleborg in Växjö
On 7 July the MAX hamburger chain opens a new restaurant at Teleborg in Växjö. Hungry and curious visitors will be greeted by a welcoming environment featuring sound material choices. The interior is the work of architects Wingårdhs and Input interior in Växjö.
When MAX throws open the doors to this eagerly-anticipated restaurant, Växjö residents will get to experience the chain’s new restaurant concept, which was first unveiled in Umeå in autumn 2016.
“The new concept reflects a high level of ambition with regard to both food and environment. Sound materials and a welcoming and cosy feel. The concept has a Scandinavian touch as a reminder of MAX’s origins. Wingårdhs is responsible for the interior design concept, while we at Input interior in Växjö supplied all fixtures and furnishings, lighting and joinery components both indoors and out,” says Erik Lundqvist, Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager at Input interior, who thinks it’s particularly special to be able to supply the MAX restaurant in Växjö.
Expands abroad
Since the collaboration was initiated in 2006, Input interior in Växjö has supplied interiors for 80 or so MAX restaurants.
“It’s a huge undertaking for us and we are extremely pleased to be entrusted with this. MAX is in a phase of expansion and we are also involved in their expansion in Denmark, Norway, Poland and the Middle East, among other areas,” continues Erik.
And further challenges await Input interior’s Växjö office when MAX expands the scope of its digital ordering system.
“We have been commissioned to convert MAX’s ordering line. This is an intensive project that has already commenced and will continue for some time to come. Things are happening all the time. Last week we concluded installation of the new MAX flagship restaurant on Hamngatan in Kungsträdgården in Stockholm. An interesting and prestigious project that we are incredibly proud of,” concludes Erik.
