Highlights from Designers’ Saturday
With inspiration from New York, Designers' Saturday started in Oslo in the 1980s. This year, the event was organised for the 20th time, and over 200 brands exhibited in the Norwegian capital. We were there to feel the pulse and get inspiration – come back with us, and discover the highlights!
During Designers’ Saturday, showrooms and exhibitions are open all around Oslo. Input interior’s new showroom in Skøyen was one of the destinations in the official program, where brands such as &Tradition, Mizetto, EFG, Framery, and Svenheim exhibited.
We met Terje Kristiansen, COO at Input interior, and Nanna Lersbryggen, interior architect at Vinter, who offered their insights on sustainable development – and how Designers’ Saturday provides space for it.
We also visited the buildings in Oslo that make interior architect Annethe Thorsrud feel “wow!”.
