Stockholm Arlanda Airport

Terminal 2 at Stockholm Arlanda Airport offers tense international travellers an initial stop-off point and experience on their journey. For arriving tourists, Terminal 2 provides that all-important first impression of Sweden.

“Supplying Stockholm Arlanda Airport differs in many ways from other deliveries. Our installers had to undergo special training to be permitted to drive out on the tarmac. With this project we truly got to demonstrate that we are just as good at logistics as we claim,” says Mats Genym, Project Manager from Input interior in Stockholm.

Great capacity and a modern look

Tema Arkitekter has been working on renewal and expansion of Terminal 2 since 2010 with the aim of creating greater capacity, shorter distances and giving the terminal more modern architecture. The interior concept strives for a modern look and to create orientation points.

Input interior co-ordinated, procured and delivered all furniture and fittings for Terminal 2. The assignment includes quality assurance to ensure all items fulfil all environmental requirements and relevant fire protection requirements. Bespoke joinery elements have also been ordered, inspected and installed, all according to a strict timetable.
