Hotel Fratelli
Karlstad's first boutique hotel, Hotel Fratelli, is now complete. Throughout the project, every detail has been carefully selected and thought out with the aim of offering visitors that little bit extra.
For 95 years, the CGC building was an integral part of Karlstad’s fashion offering. In 2019, the store closed and plans began to develop the city’s first boutique hotel. Now, just over five years later, the plans have been fulfilled and Hotel Fratelli has occupied the classic building.
From the start, the idea was to create a hotel with the ability to attract visitors from all over the country. To achieve this goal, Kaka Arkitekter and Input interior were involved in the project from an early stage.
In addition to 85 rooms and suites, there are three restaurants with different specialities and a spa.
“The hotel becomes the destination and the reason for travelling. We want you to be able to come here and spend a lot of your time here with us”, says Anders Pertun, General Manager of Hotel Fratelli.
Through close co-operation between the parties involved, no request has been too complex. With a great attention to detail, nothing has been left to chance and customised solutions are a recurring feature of the hotel.
“This building has been empty for a very long time, so it was finally time to give it new life. It’s great to be able to showcase this new, customised cladding”, says Sanita Masic, interior designer at Kaka Arkitekter.
