EY Oslo
In the centre of Oslo, overlooking the Cathedral, you can now find EY's Norwegian headquarters. With a clear interior design concept and strong values behind it, they have managed to exceed their own expectations. “I would say that it is the most beautiful office in Norway and I am very, very proud of the result,” says Daniela Milosevska Hamborg, Associate partner EY.
When the multinational auditing and consulting firm EY moved to new premises in Oslo, they enlisted the help of I-d. Interiørarkitektur & Design and they were commissioned to develop the interior design concept.
“The concept is consistently bright, light and Nordic – but with elements of slightly warmer materials. The basic palette is calm, which allows you to add a lot of different elements in terms of colours and textures,” says Annethe Thorsrud at I-d. Interior Architecture & Design.
Including sustainability in every part of the project was a given for EY, so in order to find the right furnishing for the concept, they set clear guidelines, and Input interior’s unique rating system became an important component.
See the results, meet the interior designer and hear Marita Hagerup Vogt, Head of Sustainability at EY, talk about how the rating system simplified the process.
