Media Evolution City

All meeting rooms have flexible furnishings and can be adapted as needed.

Media Evolution’s objective is to create conditions for growth and development in the media industry. Therefore Juul/Frost Arkitekter was called in to design a dynamic and flexible workplace and meeting place – Media Evolution City in Västra Hamnen in Malmö.

A melting pot of large and small companies, alongside productive, innovative and creative organisations. Based on the watchwords – flexible, simple and low thresholds – a shared meeting place was fashioned for knowledge exchange with a “together we are strong” approach.

Raw materials and soft pastels

In order to establish a creative and modern office environment, architect Johan Olsson focused on communicating the feel, occasion and function of the meeting venues and workplaces contained within Media Evolution City. He has refined the visions into a tangible concept, including colours and flows through the premises. Input interior has put together proposals for solutions and products corresponding to expectations.

Original materials such as iron, concrete and glass have been preserved in the older sections of the building. These raw materials are softened by pastel shades including yellow, brown and green. Colours that are not individually conspicuous, but in combination create an interesting whole.

Meeting rooms for all occasions

The result was an environment that offers offices, conference and meeting facilities for 450-500 people. Meeting Point has eight unique meeting rooms, everything from small discussion and workshop rooms to large conference rooms with space for 150 people. The meeting rooms have flexible furnishings that can be adapted as needed to suit the occasion. Media Evolution City also contains four different office solutions, making it easy to select the office that best matches your needs.
