Stålbox becomes Input interior
Interior design supplier Stålbox, which has been part of Input interior since the start of 2017, is changing its name from 1 September to Input interior, thus fully becoming part of the Nordic region’s leading independent interior design company.
Since its founding in 1996, Stålbox has been supplying interior furnishings for public environments to both Finnish and international clients. Sales have previously focused on private businesses and offices, and schools and educational environments. The acquisition in 2017 brought two additional business areas – hospitals and care facilities, and hotels and restaurants.
Increase in both workforce and turnover
Since the merger with Input interior, the Nordic region’s leading privately-owned interior design group, the number of employees in Helsinki has increased from three to seven and turnover is expected to double in the first year.
“We are pleased, but not surprised. As part of Input interior we have been able to offer the broadest range of brands on the Nordic market, something that has long been in demand. It feels great to be able to satisfy that demand and have the opportunity to grow together with our clients. We will continue to work hard to generate good business and serve our clients in the best way,” says Patrik Holmén, Senior Advisor at Input interior in Helsinki.
Exciting commissions
During the spring, Input interior has initiated several exciting commissions. These include supplying interior furnishings for SEB’s new office in Helsinki, with 350 workstations, and for strategy, design and engineering company Reaktor.
