MAX

Wood and natural materials dominate the interiors as a reminder of MAX’s Scandinavian origins.

MAX’s overall goal to be the world’s best hamburger chain should be reflected by the interiors of its restaurant.

With quality and the environment as watchwords in its development work, MAX, with the aid of architects Wingårdhs, developed a brand new interior design concept with the aim of delivering a new restaurant experience.

Scandinavian origins

MAX hamburger restaurants are aiming to be perceived as more cosy with the new concept. Wood dominates the interior, and hungry diners are surrounded by natural materials associated with more exclusive environments. At the same time, MAX is continuing to expand internationally and as a reminder of the chain’s origins it has been important to focus on typical Scandinavian materials.

The new concept reflects a high level of ambition with regard to both food and environment and provides a more welcoming impression and smoother flows through the restaurant.

Close collaboration

“Input interior always works closely with Wingårdhs, ensuring that their ideas and visions for projects can be realised, sustainably and effectively in terms of logistics,” says Erik Lundqvist, the supervising project manager from Input interior in Växjö.

MAX has restaurants in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UAE and Egypt.
